VENUE: Chateau Kravaře

Elegant Silesia is a unique bicycle race using bicycles with steel frame made before 1990 without carbon parts. The race will take place within the Moravian-Silesian region. There are three routes in the length of 141 km, 90 km and 57 km. The routes won’t be marked, each competitor will be equipped with a map.

The start and finish of the race, as well as the facilities for racers will be situated in the area of the Chateau Kravaře. Up to 200 competitors may take part in the race. Elegant Silesia returns to the roots of cycling, enables enthusiasts to meet with friends and share great experiences, encourages racers to exceed their limits, celebrates history, technical masterpieces and beautiful routes.

Information for competitors

• use bicycles with steel frame made around 1990, carbon parts are not allowed
• stylish period sportswear is recommended
• each participant will receive a map with marked rest areas, measured sections, checkpoints and contact phone numbers
• GPS navigation is not allowed
• the routes will not be marked, except for the main directions
• the routes will not be closed to the public
• there will be no mass start in the measured sections
• complete service along the route will be provided
• parking and a tent town will be available at the base

The registration fee includes: registration, original starting number, map, collective breakfast before the race, refreshments along the route, service along the route and at the base, commemorative card, celebratory drink after the race, entry to the accompanying programme, parking, tent town, swing picnic with live music at the chateau.
